Welcome Neighbors.
The Townhomes Of Deer Creek | RECALL Portal
Thank you for taking the time to visit this website and honestly, for caring enough to help your neighbors make Deer Creek the best community around for all.
My name is Rich Soviero, and as the letter we left at your door explained, I and several other neighbors have been very disappointed in how the community is being managed and maintained. Having been a prior Board member and President of the Board, I knew that when I left, the remaining members would probably do very little.
During the time I was on the board I was the driving force behind the following improvements that were made:
- New Street Signs to replace the original signs that were rotting and falling down.
- New mailboxes. Replacing the rusting, mail soaking, and deteriorating mailboxes that were original to the community.
- Coach lights and garage lights, replacing the corroded and falling down poles and non-functional lights.
- Consolidated the roof cleaning, which resulted in the roofs all looking clean at the same time and reducing the cost to each of us.
I can honestly say that none of these things would have been done without my driving these projects.
Before I left, I suggested that we have the landscape company give us a proposal to redo the planting at the monument sign on the corner of Northshore Dr. The existing plantings are over 25 years old. I also suggested we redo the plantings at the end of each street as they are threadbare in places. Nothing has been done.
Recently, the current board received a proposal to replace the fountain at the entrance on Avenue of the Lakes that has been down for 3 years. The price was $15,000 and they declined to do it. I suggested that they do a one time assessment of $96.00 for each homeowner so that we could get the fountain that would upgrade that entrance, and our whole community. They also declined. I don’t know about you, by I would gladly pay $96.00 to have that fountain back. Also, there are streetlights on Lakes Drive that have been out for a year or more, and the Board has done nothing to get the city to fix them.
If you feel like I do, that our community can be improved and it’s quality and beautiful features should be maintained properly, please click on the link below and complete the form. We would be removing four of the members of the current board and retaining one, Ed Lynch. Just check the boxes next to the other four, and we can get our community back on track to make us the envy of Deer Creek. We need your signature to make it happen so, thank you in advance for caring about your neighbors, your neighborhood and out little piece of heaven here in The Townhomes or Deer Creek.
NOTE: We will still be needing one more Board member, if you are or anyone you know are interested, let us know. We welcome it.
Thank You,
Rich Soviero, Daniel Heise, Mike Wagner and John Marks, no relation to Scott Marks.
